Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art presents Legacy: The Morton Levin Collection, an exhibition celebrating new gifts to the museum's Morton Levin Collection.  This thoughtfully curated showcase highlights a remarkable selection of works gifted to the museum’s permanent collection, including Levin’s striking mural, intricate etchings, expressive lithographs, and evocative pastel portraits. Each piece offers a window into Levin’s artistic journey and his influential role in 20th-century art, underscoring his technical mastery and his profound engagement with themes of identity, love, conflict, and the human condition. Through this collection, the exhibition offers an intimate and layered portrait of Levin’s legacy, one that continues to resonate within the art world and beyond.

This exhibition is curated from the Permanent Collection by Nicole Maria Evans, Chief Curator & Director of Curatorial Affairs at Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art. Exhibitions at the museum are supported in part by the Montana Arts Council, a state agency funded by the State of Montana, and the National Endowment for the Arts. We are funded in part by coal severance taxes paid based upon coal mined in Montana and deposited in Montana's cultural and aesthetic projects trust fund. Additional funding is provided by museum members and the citizens of Cascade County, Davidson Family Foundation, D.A. Davidson, Montana Credit Union, Hotel Arvon, First Interstate Bank, an anonymous donor, and Kelly’s Signs & Design.
