The Square’s Gift Shop features an original assortment of handcrafted items made by local artists and artists all over the state of Montana with a particular focus on artist local to Great Falls. The shop maintains a selection of unique fine art, pottery, jewelry, accessories, greeting cards, housewares, reproduction prints, art books, and more. Our shop is known for its encouragement of contemporary art by supporting our local artists and the spirit of gift giving. All Gift Shop artists currently (as of February 2024) retain a commission of 70%, and the remaining 30% supports daily operations of The Square.

Please email Brent Viste, Gift Shop Manager for more information on how to make your work the newest addition to our museum gift shop! All gift shop artists must retain an active museum membership (at any level) to be eligible to sell their work in the Gift Shop. Please submit a short bio, artist statement, and 4-5 photos of the work you hope to sell in the Gift Shop. The Square reserves the right to decline any artists’ applications for any reason.

Once your application has been accepted, you will be asked to initial and sign a consignment contract. Artists are paid once per month for the previous month’s sales. The Square retains 30% of all sales. Setting up ACH (direct deposit) payments is strongly encouraged.
