Join Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art on Friday June 6, 2025, at 5:30pm for a Ribbon Cutting event unveiling Meet Me in Montana, the newest addition to the museum's amazing sculpture garden.
"Meet Me in Montana" was created during Janina Myronova’s 2024 residency at The Archie Bray Foundation. Chief Curator Nicole Maria Evans acknowledges the generous support of Wayne Boeck for sponsoring the exhibition, and the Hiltner Family for making the sculpture’s permanent installation at Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art possible. This important acquisition marks the first major placement of Myronova’s work in a U.S. museum sculpture garden and reflects a shared dedication to supporting and advancing the ceramic arts in Montana.
"Meet Me in Montana" stands on the northwest side-entrance of the museum and sculpture park and is a friendly beacon of light for the Great Falls community and visitors; greeting everyone with a happy grin and confident colorful stance emblematic of the diverse wildlife, people, landscapes, history and culture of Montana that we know and love.
