The Art of Felting with Gretchen Wilson

Go on a textural adventure during this 1-day workshop while making felt from animal fiber such as wool and alpaca. At first participants will be inspired by cutting-edge artists who use ancient-modern textiles as a medium. Then, learn basic wet and dry felting techniques as we make a dry-felted sculpture using felting needles; and a wet-felted vessel using a mold!

Participants will take home 2 projects and a felting needle.
