All guided groups must make advance reservations. To schedule your visit, please contact the Education Department during regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm).

Early Childhood Tour (Pre-K, and Kindergarten)
1 hour activities-based tour of museum galleries
Cost: Free or $5/student (if art workshop is desired)

Activities Tour and Workshop (1st - 12th grades)
1 ½ hour activities-based tour of museum galleries and art workshop tailored to individual grade-levels
Cost: Free or $5/ student (if art workshop is desired)

Special Needs Tour
1 hour activities-based tour designed for persons with cognitive and physical disabilities.
Cost: Free or $5/ student (if art workshop is desired)


Adult Tours: Art Squared Journeys

These guided, monthly, behind-the-scenes tours of historic Paris Gibson Square highlight various aspects of our museum: our rich history, our exhibit and educational programming, architectural elements of our 19th-century building, and a number of stories from over the years to inspire & delight you. These fun and casual 60-minute tours are free to anyone in the community.

Museum Access for Kids Program

Program Overview Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art would like to extend an invitation for students with special needs to visit and learn at our museum. This program is provided under a contract with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

Program Format Time at the museum will last approximately 2 hours (45 minute hands-on gallery activities, 45 minute related classroom art project, 30 +/- minute time for lunch & reflective discussion). Every effort will be made to differentiate instruction based on the needs of students participating in this program.

Eligible Students Pre-K-12th grade students with special needs (Individual Education Plan & 504 Education Plans) or students who are noted to have learning difficulties that are not yet categorized (or in the process of being categorized), such as ADHD, Autism Spectrum etc.

Program Costs Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art is able to provide your school with FREE accommodations for this program. Bus money is also included under our contract.
