Jennifer Reifsneider’s exhibition provides an interesting counterpoint to the traditional fiber arts that we explore this Fall. The artist combines traditional methods that involve “the stitch” with a contemporary approach to materials to comment on contemporary life. Her work is a metaphor for the connections that lay between each of us and a chaotic universe, while examining notions of containment.
