Convergence
Bev Beck Gleuckert | Ellen Ornitz | Susan Thomas
March 5, 2021 through June 2, 2021
Convergence is an exhibition that brings together the work of three artists: Bev Beck Glueckert, Ellen Ornitz and Susan Thomas. Connected through friendship, and their shared dedication to the arts as artists and educators, they each present works drawn from nature’s influence on their life and work. Works presented are comprised of primitive fired vessels by Ellen Ornitz, mixed media works on paper by Bev Beck Glueckert, and sculpture by Susan Thomas. The pieces you see on exhibit resonate with each artist in a separate but similar way, as they each respond to their shared but regionally varied Montana environment, while also touching on common threads of meaning about existence, transformation, and the passage of time.
